About

Two people who kept choosing this work.

Ramboz & Associates is not a referral service with a waiting room. It is two clinicians who arrived here by different roads and decided to build the practice they both wished had existed.

Jamie Ramboz, LCSW

MSW, Boise State 20+ years in practice Chess tournaments

Over 20 years ago Jamie sat across from his first client. Someone who was fighting addiction, carrying a dual diagnosis, and looking for someone who wouldn’t give up on them. He never has.

Jamie holds his MSW from Boise State University and has spent his career doing the kind of clinical work most people don’t have the patience or heart for. Not just the hour session. The whole day. Walking alongside people as they actually put recovery into practice within real life, in real time. Now, through Ramboz & Associates, Jamie is expanding that same commitment into private practice and consulting. Bringing clinical therapy, substance use expertise, and genuine hands-on care to clients who are ready to do the work. When he’s not in session, you’ll probably find him a few moves deep in a chess tournament, because whether it’s the board or the therapy room, Jamie is always thinking several steps ahead for the people in front of him. ♟️We’re just getting started. Follow along.

Ryan Egger

MSW candidate, Weber State Nearly a decade in practice Family support

Ryan did not stumble into this work.

He chose it. And then kept choosing it.

Year after year, through every client, every crisis, and every late night that reminded him exactly why he started.

It began nearly a decade ago, sitting across from people in the middle of their hardest chapters, learning that substance use counseling isn’t just clinical work. It’s relational. It’s human. It demands you show up with everything you have. From there came years of deepening that foundation such as learning addiction, dual diagnosis, and what real recovery actually looks like from the inside out. Then came family support work, where he discovered that healing doesn’t stop at the individual. It ripples out into families, into communities, into generations. Nearly a decade in, Ryan is now completing his Masters of Social Work at Weber State University not because he needed a credential to prove himself, but because he believes that if you’re going to serve people at the highest level, you keep growing. Full speed ahead. At Ramboz & Associates, Ryan brings that decade of hard-earned, boots-on-the-ground experience into a private practice built around one belief, that people deserve care from someone who has genuinely committed their life to this work and not just their business hours. This is what that commitment looks like. Follow along. We’re just getting started. 🔥

Our Approach

More than a referral. A guide.

At Ramboz & Associates, everything we do is rooted in one belief: that individuals and families deserve more than a referral; they deserve a guide. Drawing on the full depth of our LCSW training and lived professional experience, we meet people exactly where they are and walk alongside them as they move forward, grow, and heal. Whether the path forward is clinical, consultative, or both, we bring every resource we have to help you piece things together in whatever way is needed, however that looks for you.

Clinical

Therapy at Ramboz & Associates is grounded in evidence-based practices, clinical expertise, and a relationship-driven approach that recognizes every individual has a unique story. We integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic Therapy, Family Systems Theory, Trauma-Focused interventions, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and other proven treatment modalities to create individualized care that meets each client where they are.

We work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, relationship conflict, life transitions, behavioral concerns, emotional dysregulation, and the everyday challenges that often go unseen. Every treatment plan is thoughtfully developed to address the whole person, mind, body, relationships, and environment, rather than simply treating symptoms.

Whether you are beginning therapy for the first time or have worked with other providers in the past, our goal is to create a safe, collaborative, and judgment-free environment where healing, personal growth, and lasting change can take place. Together, we help clients build practical skills, strengthen resilience, improve relationships, and move confidently toward a healthier, more meaningful life.

Consulting

Our consulting services are designed to help individuals and families navigate the complex decisions that often come with addiction, mental health challenges, and major life transitions. When the path forward feels unclear, we provide structure, guidance, and trusted clinical perspective every step of the way.

We support families with:

• Treatment placement guidance and program evaluation• Clinical recommendations and second-opinion consultation• Aftercare and transition planning following residential treatment• Ongoing coordination between providers and support systems• Family strategy, communication, and boundary support• Recovery monitoring and accountability planning when appropriate

Rather than navigating these decisions alone, families work with a consistent, informed partner who understands both the clinical landscape and the realities of long-term recovery.

Care Coordination

Case management is where clinical expertise meets real-world action. At Ramboz & Associates, we help individuals and families navigate the complexities that often extend beyond the therapy office. Whether coordinating care between providers, advocating for clients within schools, healthcare systems, courts, employers, or treatment programs, our role is to ensure every piece of the plan works together.

Every case is supervised by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), providing families with professional oversight, informed guidance, and consistent communication throughout the process. We assist with care coordination, treatment recommendations, resource navigation, crisis planning, transportation when appropriate, appointment support, family collaboration, accountability, and implementation of therapeutic goals in everyday life.

When life becomes overwhelming, we provide structure, organization, advocacy, and practical solutions that help clients move forward with confidence while ensuring no one has to navigate difficult circumstances alone.
